QRcigar

For cigar brands

Know how people know your cigars.

QRcigar is a small code on the cellophane. A smoker scans it in the shop and your infoblast opens: your page, your words, your branding, about the cigar in their hand. Later they rate it, and you hear how it was received: how it burned and drew, what they tasted, and whether they’d buy a box.

A phone camera is all the smoker needs. Your reports start with the first scan.

The infoblast

Your brand story is dynamic

The page a scan opens is yours, and it is never fixed in print. Change the story, the photos, the colors, or a vitola’s details tonight and every label out there shows it tomorrow, because the code itself never changes. Send us your text and artwork and we build it, with as much or as little detail as you want. To change it, tell us, or do it yourself in a minute.

How the infoblast and the reports fit together

The Quesada Oktoberfest infoblast on a phone: the brand’s logo, the band, a short story, the blend, and a photo of the five vitolas.
  • Built by us from what you send, or by you
  • Images, video, links, your typography
  • As much or as little detail as you want
  • Changed any time; the printed code stays the same

Get onboard

Three steps. The first two happen in an afternoon, at a trade show or over email, and there is nothing for you to set up unless you want to.

  1. 1

    Claim your brand

Your brand is almost certainly already in CigarShare’s catalog. We connect your account to it and build your infoblast from whatever you send us: text, photos, your colors. Edit it yourself whenever you like, or never.

  2. 2

    Print your codes

One code for a whole line, one per vitola, or one per release: as fine or as coarse as you like, in your colors. Download the label and put it on the cellophane. Codes never expire.

  3. 3

    Watch the reports fill in

Scans show up as they happen. Ratings follow once people have smoked the cigar. Within a few weeks you can see how each vitola is being received.

Answers to the questions you ask

Is the new blend landing? Did that batch draw tight? Which vitola do people come back for? QRcigar answers from the people holding the cigar.
